David Thomas Joins Accelify Solutions

As Vice President of Business Development, David will play a pivotal role in bringing Accelify’s leading ERP technology solutions for special education management to school districts nationwide.
NEW YORK, NY – February 22, 2016 – Accelify Solutions announced today that David Thomas has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development. Nationally recognized as a leader in education reform, David has over 24 years of experience in education with strong political ties at the local, state, and federal level.

Accelify’s technology is aligned with that mission, helping school districts across the country create conditions essential to more effectively support students with disabilities through enhanced program visibility, compliance management, and access to Medicaid funding.”
Mr. Thomas began his career as a classroom teacher and college professor and has held a number of leadership positions in education, including campus provost and local school board commissioner. He co-chaired the Governor’s Commission on Education Reform, and served as National Chair of the National School Boards Association, Council of Urban Boards of Education. Mr. Thomas currently serves as a Senior Advisor to the Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO) and as a board member of the BAEO Action Fund.
Prior to joining Accelify, Mr. Thomas spent nine years as Executive Vice President of Grade Results, Inc., a leading provider of online courses and content for virtual and blended learning models. He also partners with a national education consulting firm led by a former U.S. Secretary of Education, where he leads teams working with district administrations on school turnaround and reform initiatives.
