Quality of Life Expands Clinic to Gadsden City High School

Quality of Life Health Services Inc. has expanded Gadsden Family and Student Health Solutions, next to Adams Elementary School, to include a new location at Gadsden City High School.

Deborah Pullen, a certified registered nurse practitioner, began seeing patients Wednesday.

Gadsden Family and Student Health Solutions offers health care to Gadsden City students, faculty and their families.

A variety of services is provided, including primary and preventive medical, dental, health education and behavioral health services. On-site eye evaluations also will be performed by Dr. Michael Johnson. Students also will be linked to laboratory, X-ray and pharmacy services. Every student will be eligible for care, regardless of family income.

Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance will be accepted (applicable co-pays will apply). Noninsured student fees will be a minimum of $5. There will be a $10 co-pay for a noninsured parent of a student or for a Gadsden City Schools faculty member.

All specialty labs, injections and X -rays are subject to additional costs.

No student will be turned away because of his or her inability to pay.
