Accelify is pleased to report that its custom billing solution has produced over $2.5 million in Medicaid reimbursements for the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) for fiscal year 2011/12.  This is an increase of more than 630%.

“DCPS is thrilled with the claiming results achieved via the AcceliCLAIM system,” said Charles W. Jackson, Deputy Chief of Operations, DCPS Office of Special Education. “We have gained invaluable insight into the claiming process, which is allowing us to identify and eliminate deficiencies, and develop strategies to better manage all aspects of the program.”

DCPS recognized the potential of the school-based Medicaid program to increase district resources. Accelify implemented a custom version of its AcceliCLAIMMedicaid claiming solution to aggregate data from various information systems in order to identify and validate Medicaid-eligible services and generate Medicaid claims for DCPS.

“The AcceliCLAIM solution has provided unprecedented visibility into the claiming process, and this has maximized reimbursements,” said Alex Brecher, CEO, Accelify. “We are thrilled that our work with the professionals of this world-class organization has produced results that will better the lives of DC’s children.”
