DC Public Schools and the OSSE Implement Accelify Solutions

Washington, DC– The District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) have selected Accelify, LLC to provide consulting services, technology solutions, and data integration work to enhance their Medicaid billing programs. Accelify will aggregate data from several different information systems currently in use by DCPS and OSSE in order to identify Medicaid-eligible services and generate appropriate claims using Accelify’s proprietary web-based billing software.

DCPS recognizes the potential of the school-based Medicaid program to increase district resources and enable better service delivery to special education students. To improve the district’s billing capabilities Accelify will provide its AcceliCLAIM software, a robust billing tool that compiles data from multiple sources to identify health-related services that are eligible for Medicaid reimbursement based on specific federal and state regulations. Through AcceliCLAIM DCPS will also gain valuable visibility into claiming data, which can be used to identify and eliminate process deficiencies, maximize claiming, and devise strategies to better manage all aspects of the claiming process.
In addition, Accelify will provide its AcceliROUTE technology to DCPS and OSSE to enable the creation, matching and submission of transportation service claims for students receiving special education services.
