Chipley, FL – June 18, 2012 — Accelify, LLC is pleased to announce a new contract with the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium (PAEC) Cooperative State Purchasing Program to provide Medicaid billing services to PAEC member and participating school districts in Florida. The deal was awarded via a competitive request for proposal (RFP) process that met the State’s strict requirements.

PAEC is Florida’s oldest educational consortium, representing 14 school districts in the Panhandle region. The partnership with Accelify will enable member and other participating districts to access professional services and software for school-based Medicaid billing – a federal program that provides reimbursement to schools for the cost of providing health-related services to the special education population.

“We are proud to join the PAEC State Cooperative Purchasing Program,” said Alex Brecher, CEO of Accelify. “School-based Medicaid billing represents a significant funding source for schools, and we look forward to working with PAEC to help districts maximize their reimbursements.”

All school districts in Florida will be able to take advantage of the PAEC State Cooperative Purchasing Program, which provides access to contracts without the RFP process, and is designed to offer deep discounts to buyers.“This is an important contract for PAEC because we understand the value of the services offered by Accelify and the positive impact these services will have on school districts across the State,” said Rick Everitt, Program Coordinator of Technology for PAEC.

Accelify works with several school districts in Florida, including Broward County Public Schools and Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. Accelify also currently works with four PAEC members: Calhoun County School District, Franklin County School District, Gulf County School District, and Liberty County School District. Accelify will offer the services and products that these districts use to the other PAEC member and participating districts. This includes Accelify’s proprietary AcceliTRACK™ system, which is used to track health-related services and process Medicaid claims. AcceliTRACK significantly reduces the administrative workload for district personnel and provides unprecedented visibility into the delivery of health services, allowing districts to effectively monitor their special education programs and ensure that students are receiving the appropriate level of care to help them succeed in school and beyond.
